Safeguarding Community Network

This is a new network for anyone who leads on, or has an interest in safeguarding at their third sector organisation in Kirklees.

Our community network meetings offer a safe and friendly space to share, learn, connect and support each other.

The network meeting will include:

• Local and national safeguarding updates
• Community based case studies/scenarios to discuss
• Guest Speaker
• Peer Support
• Opportunity to feed in your ideas for future support, training and network meetings.

The meeting will be hosted by Steph Wescott our Community Lead for the Safeguarding Network. Steph is Safeguarding Lead at the Rivertree Trust which is both a community based and faith-based organisation operating in the Paddock area of Huddersfield .

This event is organised by TSL Kirklees - a local charity that gives free support, advice and training to any charity, community group or social enterprise in Kirklees - and is only open to any workers, trustees or volunteers from third sector organisations based or working in Kirklees. Our events and services are free because, like any other charity, we rely on grants and funding. If you have booked a place and then cannot make it, please cancel your place via Eventbrite or by emailing comms@tslkirklees.org.uk, so that we can offer that place to someone else and so that our funding isn't wasted.
