A brief overview of the safeguarding guidance for groups followed by a Q&A session.

About this event

At Friends of the Earth we believe that everyone has the right to live free from abuse of any kind. We all have a responsibility to do everything we can to keep children and vulnerable adults safe and report any concerns we have about their welfare. Our guidance sets out everything groups need to know about safeguarding, including how to meet legal safeguarding requirements, preventative measures you can put in place, and how to report a concern. If you still have questions regarding your group's safeguarding responsibilities, this webinar is for you. After a brief overview of the guidance for groups, we'll spend the majority of this hour answering your remaining questions about safeguarding. Make sure you've read our guide before attending and prepare any questions you still have about safeguarding.
