Sign up and enter2. Choose the distance you'd like to work towards and run (or try to run!)3. Receive an 8-week running pack that's designed for your level and distance4. Join the Sanctus Run Community and work towards the Fun Run with others :)

The Sanctus Fun Run Community We're all in it together and everyone in the online community is committed to working towards the fun run and to getting out there :)- We post our runs in the online group - We try to run on the same days so it feels like we're running together- We share honest check-ins and updates throughout the week- There's pro run coaches in the group who give support and advice- And there's daily motivation and support from others in the group which is the best bit!*currently a whatsapp group - depending on sign-ups this might change!

Why is it so good?2020 has been a very weird and challenging year for us all and keeping active (especially during lockdown) has never felt more important for us and our mental healthThe Fun Run gives you a purpose. 8 weeks of working towards something with others is pretty specialFinally it's a great feeling to be a part of something and to share the ups and downs, the highs and lows with other people who are in it with you, and it feels good to give and receive support and motivationSanctus Fun Run gives you purpose, support, motivation and a community :)

FAQ.1. What if I'm not sure what distance to do?FUN5k / FUN10k / HALFMARAFUNIf you're new to running or if you're not sure what distance to do we can help you choose - you can also change you're distance at any time :)You can also change the distance you're working towards at any time - it's less about the distance you run on the day and more about getting out there with others (virtually!) every weekThere's NO points for what distance you go for!2. Can anyone join or run?Everyone is welcome! This isn't an elite run club or community for runners only. This is a community and fun run for all ...Whether you're just getting into running, you want to get back into it, you want to start, you're looking for a new hobby or exercise during lockdown - this is the place for you :)3. What's included in the 'running pack'?You'll get a running pack when you enter and this includes:- 8-week running plan / 2-3 runs per week designed by professional run coaches- Eating guide / What to eat and not to eat!- Stretching plan / How to keep your body feeling good with a pre+post run stretching guide4. Do I have to do every run on the plan + with others? Sounds like a big commitment!There's absolutely no expectations so it's completely up to youIf you just want to run the Fun Run and don't want to get too involved in the community that's all goodIf you miss a run, or don't follow your plan, or skip a few weeks because you're super busy - that's absolutely fine as well ...The plans and the group are just there to support and motivate you as much as you need it and you can take as much from it as you'd like to so there's no pressure or expectation at all :)5. Who are the run coaches?We have Steve Hobbs, UK Athletic Accredited Run Coach and the founder of The <a href="https://themilestonepursuit.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Milestone Pursuit</a>.Steve has designed the running plans and is the group's running coach.We also have Stu Holliday, Sports Psychologist and the founder of <a href="https://www.focusedmindcoaching.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Focused Mind </a>.Stu will be supporting in the group with advice and coaching.6.
