The Santa Dash 2022 once again makes a return!!!   A fun run for all the family supporting Kidneys For Life.

<h3>The Santa Dash 2022 once again makes a return in Marple!!!</h3>Organised by the Romiley, Marple and District Lions Club (RMDLC), the Santa Dash is a charity fun run for all the family and will take place on December 4th 2022, with all participants dressed as Santas (suits included in registration fee). Registration takes place from 9.30 with the dash due to start at 10.30am from Marple Memorial Park and finish at the Dobbies&#x27; Garden Centre.The dash is about 2 miles long, mostly down hill and along footpaths and don&#x27;t worry if you can&#x27;t dash, you can walk or even crawl!RegistrationYou will need to buy a ticket(£10.00) for each person taking part in the dash. if you are taking part in a group, it helps with the administration on the day if you nominate a group leader when you register. As usual, Santa Suits are included in the registration fee, there will be a present for junior dashers when they finish the course and every dasher will receive a voucher for for the Dragon Miniature railway. Complimentary refreshments will be served when the dashers arrive at the Garden Centre.How do we use the money raised?The registration fee (£10) is payable to Romiley and Marple Lions and goes to support those in need in our local community. For more details about the calendar and how to purchase, click here <a href="https://romiley-and-marple-lions-club.sumupstore.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Charity Calendar</a> Help make a differenceFind out more about how you can help Romiley and Marple Lions make a difference in our local community <a href="http://romiley-marple-lions.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Romiley&amp;Marple Lions Club</a> On the daySanta Suits can be collected by your group leader from the entrance to the Scout Hut.Dashers WILL NOT be allowed to enter the building.Once your group member has collected all their Santa Suits , please proceed past the building to the car park ready for the assembly and warm up session.We hope that Santa Dashers will understand that, in line with current recommendations and in the interests of health and safety, indoor changing facilities WILL NOT be provided.In the unlikely event of an emergency, we encourage dashers to carry some for of identification with them.The usual route will be followed (to Dobbies’ Marple Garden Centre) and marshalled as in previous years. Refreshments will be provided on arrival at the Garden Centre and “junior” Santa Dashers will each receive a present. A voucher system will operate allowing every Santa Dasher a ride on the Dragon Miniature Railway EITHER on the day of the Santa Dash OR on a later date (voucher to be produced and surrendered). Marple Band will be playing Christmas music at the Garden Centre.Terms and conditionsParticipants agree: <ul><li>to take part in this event entirely at their own risk </li><li>that RMDLC, KFL, its sponsors, the event organisers, contractors and agents shall not be liable in any way for any injury, loss, damage or death that might occur as a result of their participation in the Santa Dash</li><li>that they are not aware of any medical condition or other reason why they should not participate in the event</li></ul>RMDLC STRONGLY RECOMMENDS ALL PARTICIPANTS TAKE PERSONAL ACCIDENT AND MEDICAL INSURANCE FOR THIS EVENT. RMDLC reserves the right to cancel the event or alter the date or time of the event for any reason. RMDLC are unable to offer any refunds.By signing this form , participants confirm that they have read and understood the terms and conditions set out above and consent to Romiley, Marple &amp; District Lions Club holding their personal details on a confidential basis for the express purpose of participating in the event. By taking part, all participants confirm that they are happy for any photographs taken during this event to be used by RMDLC and KFL to publicise events and generally.
