Overview

Join us for a Tiny Forest Planting Day at Sarn greenspace, by Lower Santffraid Road

Come and plant a new Tiny Forest in Sarn!

This is free to attend and open to all ages

Valleys to Coast are working with Earthwatch Europe and Admiral to establish a new Tiny Forest in Sarn (see below for exact location). A Tiny Forest is a dense, fast-growing, native woodland made up of 600 trees planted in a tennis court-sized plot. They are not only an attractive location for wildlife but are great for people to enjoy as well, and can provide a range of benefits in the fight against climate change.

Join us on Wednesday 25th March where we will be planting 600 trees that will make up the Tiny Forest.

Location: Lower Llansantffraid, Sarn, Bridgend CF32 9NL
Coordinates: 51.54161848461393, -3.588137814107765 | what3words///stuck.melon.hero

How long to spend with us:
1:00pm onwards (until all the trees are planted!)
Please arrive towards the start so that everyone who would like to join in has a tree to plant. You are welcome to stay for as little or as long as you like.

What to wear: We strongly recommend wearing long sleeves and long trousers, plus footwear for a day in the outdoors, such as wellies/walking boots. Equipment will be provided on the day but feel free to bring along your own gardening gloves and a spade if you have these.

Getting there: We encourage using public transport, walking or car sharing wherever possible.

Keeping you safe: It’s our priority to keep everyone safe, and there will be a site safety briefing for everyone who attends.🌳🌳

At Earthwatch Europe, we are committed to making all our events inclusive, respectful, and safe for everyone. Hate of any kind will not be tolerated, and we actively promote a space where individuality is respected and welcomed.
