Learn about the traditional Japanese craft of Sashiko and make your own stitched sample of decorative visible mending
This is a skills-sharing workshop run by volunteers for you to have a taste of Sashiko embroidery and for you to understand why it has been traditionally used as a decorative visible mending technique for centuries by the Japanese.
All equipment and materials will be provided, but if you wear glasses for close-up work, make sure you bring them along.
