No, all experience levels (including complete beginner) are welcome!

Who will be teaching this workshop?

Becky Doonan (@textiletextiel on insta and facebook) will be leading this class. She is a seamstress and textile professional based in the Netherlands, and is happy to be running this workshop during a visit to Glasgow!

Question 3

Can I bring something with me to mend during the workshop?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You are very welcome to bring your own clothing to embroider/repair during the workshop. We will also provide extra fabric if you do not wish to bring your own.

Question 4

What will I leave the workshop with?

Accepted Answer

You will leave with your own piece of embroidery, plus additional sashiko patterns, transfer paper/washable pencil and thread so that you can continue at home.
