How to Heighten Bigly with Brady Hutchings

You’ve done the work. You’ve got the scene going and a clear game found. Now to heighten and beat the hell out of the game - except it’s not always that easy. Sometimes you run out of gas or find yourselves just repeating the same line over and over again. Well fret not, because this workshop will help you reach deep down and find that there’s always fuel in the tank. Or better yet, there’s a way to heighten in a way that develops a world within the scene that explores the old adage “If this is true, what else is true?” Unlock your inner potential, your rage, your defiance against the gods old and new as you bring your scenes to sky-scraping heights screaming “DEATH” in a glorious charge against the heavens.

Brady Hutchings began his improv journey performing for his university team in San Francisco before moving to Los Angeles and taking UCB classes. He has performed at festivals such as the Fringe, the Edinburgh International Improv Festival, and Das Improv (Berlin). Brady is now part of the Glasgow Improv Theatre where he teaches and performs regularly with the house team Bounce House.
