• the use of a range of specialist tools and equipment correctly and safely
• cleaning and reviving existing polished surfaces
• basic chair frame restoration and repair
• stripping out old upholstery
• traditional upholstery techniques eg: webbing, springing, stuffing

• Pattern cutting and sewing skills
