About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Led by Hannah Lord (artist at Flying Fish Studio), learn how to use the various tools and techniques to shape wire into place to make this unique bouquet.

The flowers are generally between 15cm and 30cm tall. You may like to bring a small vase with you, so you know the length to cut your stems (narrow tops generally work best). Suitable for beginners.

"Didn't think I could do it but by the end I was hooked! Hannah is such a great, gentle teacher. And I'm thrilled with my bunch of flowers!" - Esther

"Hannah was so good at explaining the various shapes we created using the wire. It was such a fun and creative experience where I came away with something I was pleased with" - Denice

This workshop forms part of the programme of events complementing the exhibition Show Your Metal, which opens at the Millennium Gallery on 13 June 2024, until 29 September 2024.
