About this event

Hello there,
thank you for being so interested in my class.
The workshop will be 4 hours long, with a short break in the middle and it's meant to be part one of a two-part course on Flat Plane Carving.

We'll be exploring the unique 1-tool-only hand techniques for carving in the Scandinavian Flat plane style, using green or seasoned wood, with references to wood carving culture, different materials, sustainable harvest, timber processing, history of the craft, and more.

We will learn the basic knife techniques and complete a first simple project, propedeutical to part two, where we will explore a more complex design.
