Scarred Issues

I carry the BRCA2 gene mutation and after undergoing preventative surgeries, my life was turned upside down when I learnt that my surgery had been performed incorrectly and my surgeon was going to be jailed.  For ten years i was denied HRT due to the botched surgery.  I have suffered mental health and body image issues as a result.  By telling my story in a positive way with added bits of fun, I hope to lift the lid on the loneliness and fear that menopause and/or life changing surgery can bring.
