School Readiness Workshop

This is a free event aimed at parents of Reception 2026 starters to help in supporting your child’s first steps into school.

Starting school is an exciting milestone, and our school readiness workshop is designed to help you feel confident and prepared.

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to:

• Learn directly from Reception teachers about early reading, preparing for learning and how you can support your child at home
• Receive expert guidance on how to ask questions and discuss any concerns about your child’s development
• Understand key developmental milestones and what to expect in the early years
• Explore school-based resources and understand how the EYFS curriculum works
• You’ll also receive a goody bag of practical resources to take away and use at home.
