Claire Brighton

Claire Brighton worked for 20 years with the Ministry of Defence in corporate services and logistics, with a senior role ensuring expenditure proposals across the Army delivered value for money. Combining this experience with an MBA from Henley Business School, she has now applied it to developing the transport system for Prince’s Mead School, incorporating it as a unique element of the School’s Marketing Plan.


Melanie Tucker Principal MTC

Melanie has worked with many independent schools, helping them to develop effective business models and marketing strategies. She has a track record of increasing recruitment and income. She is an innovative thinker and an expert in business strategy. She has worked as a senior manager in independent boarding education and held chief executive posts in the world of business and education. She was the first to establish a company specialising in marketing and business strategy for the independent education sector.


Gavin Humphries Analyst MTC

Gavin’s areas of expertise comprise consumer research, market analysis and inspiring new products and services. Formerly the Research & Analysis Director at Datamonitor, Gavin has an MA from Oxford University and an MBA from the London Business School.


Rachele Kelsall Director, Hugh J Boswell Insurance Brokers

Rachele acts for a number of independent schools, advising them on risk management and insurance issues. She delivers a bespoke insurance programme that delivers cost-effective protection against a wide range of risks facing the sector today.
