Science Comedy: Self-Care
The award-winning improv comedy group, Do Not Adjust Your Stage, bring the giggles with shows inspired by science.
Join an award-winning improv comedy group as they bring the giggles to the Science Cabaret stage with shows inspired by science from Imperial College London.
The Wunderkammer is the most funny and thought-provoking improvised comedy show you’ll ever see.
Acclaimed improv group Do Not Adjust Your Stage welcome Austen El-Osta, Director of the Self-Care Academic Research Unit at Imperial College London, Director and Trustee of the International Self-Care Foundation , and Trustee of the Self-Care Forum. He is a fellow of WHO Collaborating Centre for Public Health Education & Training, the primary care theme lead for NIHR Health Technology Research Centre, and General Manager of the Directorate of Public Health at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
Dr El-Osta is an emergent subject matter expert on self-care and the progenitor of the Self-Driven Healthcare movement.
He will present a talk, which will then inspire a whirlwind of entirely unscripted comedy scenes, created live on the spot. No script, no safety net, just fascinating ideas and comedy. Smart, surprising and seriously funny, this is science comedy like you’ve never seen it before.
