Join us for a virtual tour around one of the Babraham Institute’s world leading lab facilities -the Biological Support Unit (BSU).

The Babraham Institute is a world leading biosciences research institute whose work focuses on better understanding ageing and the effect it has on our bodies. Much of the Institute’s work underpins biomedical treatments for conditions such as cancer, autoimmune conditions, and infectious diseases, to name a few. This important research is only possible through the efforts of facilities on campus like the biological support unit who oversees our animal research models.In this virtual tour you will explore the facility and hear from the staff on-the-ground about the work they do. Discover how the facility remains clear of any disease outbreaks and the rules we uphold to ensure our animals are only used for research where absolutely necessary. Please join us as we open up this often unseen aspect of research more than ever before in this interactive experience and discuss the societal impact of our work.This event is for 16+ year olds. To register for this event you must be over the age of 18.
