SciScreen is a FREE year round film festival exploring science and health in film from Newcastle University. Join us for free film screenings and panel discussions hosted at independent cinemas around the North East.Join us this month for a screening of The Matrix to celebrate Brain Awareness Week. We&#x27;ll chat about movement neuroscience, virtual reality, and more real science explored in The Matrix. We&#x27;ll be hosting this free screening at the Star and Shadow cinema in Newcastle upon Tyne. Star and Shadow Cinema is a volunteer-run DIY space for Newcastle, Tyne and Wear, and the north east UK. It is set up as an open-to-join co-operative housed in a building it owns, dedicated to culture coming from and/or programmed by the grass roots - particularly cinema and music.Book your FREE ticket now.The screening will start promptly at 6.30pm and will be followed by a panel discussion with researchers and experts from Newcastle University. Come down early to grab a drink from the Star and Shadow bar, and get the best seat in the house.
