Yes London is part of the pro-Scottish Independence movement, &#x27;Yes Scotland&#x27; (www.yes.scot) and we are pleased to bring together a range of voices from across England and Scotland to share their views on:<ul><li>why a second independence referendum matters</li><li>h﻿ow independence will help the rest of the UK to rejoin the EU</li><li>the need for democratic reform at Westminster</li><li>the case for English self-determination</li><li>the impact of Brexit on UK politics </li><li>future relations between the nations of the UK and beyond</li></ul>Join Professor Anthony C Grayling, Gavin Esler, Jemma Forte, Alyn Smith MP as we discuss the issues facing the UK as we approach a crossroads for our future.The Tories, not content with imposing the hardest Brexit possible on a divided UK and against Scotland&#x27;s wishes, have now wreaked economic havoc on ordinary households, damaging our international standing. ﻿Scotland, much like people all across the UK, cannot afford to be part of this Westminster system any longer. Inflation, cost of living, energy prices, interest rates, mortgages, economic stagnation - all issues affecting European nations, but the UK seems to have the worst answers to all of these issues. Why? Because Brexit Britain is broken. Our aspiration is for Scottish independence. An independence which will expose the failures of a broken Westminster system and lead to major democratic reform. Imagine a Westminster that actually reflects the needs of the electorate, not vested interests. Scottish independence will be the quickest route to undoing the damage of Brexit.
