ScotML round two is here!
On Thursday 12th April, ScotML is hosted at the Cirrus Logic office in central Edinburgh. Following the success of the first event at Amazon, we are hosting a similarly themed meet-up at the brilliant and new Cirrus Logic offices at Quartermile.
It is again focused on Data Science and will last from around 6:30pm to 10pm. We have three/four first class speakers covering some really interesting topics and we will provide the food and drink (as always – plenty of beer and pizza!). There will be ample opportunity to meet and chat to some of the brightest and best analytics professionals across Scotland in an informal environment.

18:00 Doors open / drinks
18:30 Welcome - Hamish Niven, Cathcart Associates and Gordon McLeod, Director of Advanced Technology, Cirrus Logic. 
18:40 - Cirrus Logic, Carlos Vaquero, Staff Technologist. Cirrus Logic are a world renowned technology firm, developing some of the most advanced noise cancellation products on the market, counting some of the biggest companies in the world as their customers. 
19:05 - Previse, Elias Mistler, Lead Data Scientist. "Making Data Pay - The Previse Instant Pay Algorithm”. Previse are a data analytics start-up who are using Artificial Intelligence to enable corporate buyers to safely ensure they pay all their suppliers instantly.  
19:30 Break: Pizza and drinks
20:10 - Mudano, Boris Mitrovic - Senior Data Scientist. Mudano harness project data to allow people to make better decisions, headquartered in London with a high calibre analytics team based in Edinburgh. 
20:35 - Trustmarque Solutions, Dick Wall - BI Solutions Architect. “Machine Learning for clinical decision support” 
21:00 Hang around: drinks and a chance to chat
22:00-Late - Cathcart after party
