Scottish Community Link Worker Network: Knowledge Exchange Event

We are the national intermediary and network for Scotland’s voluntary health organisations.

We promote greater recognition for the role of our sector, and we work with our members to  influence  health agendas, policy and practice.

We want Scotland to be a place where we all have longer healthier lives, with equal access to care and support when we need it.

This event is aimed specifically at Community Link Workers in Scotland.

***This event is aimed specifically at Community Link Workers who are working directly within a Primary Care setting in Scotland. Managers/Programme Leads for these Community Link Workers are also welcome to attend.***This event will take place online on Zoom.The Scottish Community Link Worker Network will be hosting its second Knowledge Exchange Event on Thursday 19th January from 10am – 12pm



Our first speaker will be <a href="https://moneyandpensionsservice.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kevin Duffy, Scotland Partnership Manager at the Money and Pensions Service.</a> Kevin will provide an overview of the services that CLWs can access to support people’s financial wellbeing.

Our second speaker will be <a href="https://www.familiesoutside.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kerry Knox, Head of Family Support from Families Outside,</a> which is the only national charity which works solely on supporting families impacted by imprisonment in Scotland. Kerry will give an overview of the work they do, how to refer people for support and their resources and training opportunities.

After each presentation, there will be an opportunity for Q&amp;A and discussion.
