We are the national intermediary and network for Scotland’s voluntary health organisations.

We promote greater recognition for the role of our sector, and we work with our members to  influence  health agendas, policy and practice.

We want Scotland to be a place where we all have longer healthier lives, with equal access to care and support when we need it.

This event is aimed specifically at Community Link Workers in Scotland.

***This event is aimed specifically at Community Link Workers who are working directly within a Primary Care setting in Scotland. Managers/Programme Leads for these Community Link Workers are also welcome to attend.***The Scottish Community Link Worker Network will be holding a knowledge exchange event on Thursday 1st September from 10am – 12pm. This event will take place online on Zoom.With the current cost of living crisis and the sharp rise in energy bills we know that community link workers will be seeing many who are struggling to meet their household costs.<ul><li>You will be able to listen to speakers from two organisations:Social Security Scotland will provide an overview of the benefits they deliver and eligibility for these</li><li>The Energy Saving Trust will talk about the support they provide to tackle fuel poverty and help people manage their energy bills</li></ul>This will be followed by open discussion with the presenters and the other attendees at the event.Please contact Lauren Blair with any questions about the event lauren.blair@vhscotland.org.ukThis event is for the Scottish Community Link Worker Network.
