Scottish Council 2026

Our Scottish Council Event will be held on Sat 14 March 2026, at the John McIntyre Conference Centre, Edinburgh. All members are welcome!

We are delighted to be hosting our one-day Scottish Council 2026 AGM and event at the John McIntyre Conference Centre in Edinburgh.

Throughout the day, you’ll hear from staff who will share updates on the fantastic projects they are working on. Delegates will enjoy a buffet lunch, along with the chance to network and exchange ideas with groups from across Scotland.

All papers for the Scottish Council 2026 AGM — including guidance on Motions and Amendments — will be available closer to the event in the Scottish Council Toolkit.

Our host groups, Edinburgh Ramblers and Edinburgh Young Walkers, will be on hand to help the day run smoothly and will also lead several short walks. It’s March, so come prepared for classic Scottish weather!

We’ll also be joined by outdoor experts for discussion sessions and Q&A opportunities.

On the day, registration opens at 9:30am, Scottish Council begins at 10:15am, and the event will conclude by 4:30pm.
