What's the format for the evening?

It's very much a casual meet and mingle.  Grab a drink from the bar and make your way through to the back of the bar to join us.  We'll do a little speed networking just to break the ice with everyone in the room at around about 8pm.  After that, it's time for you to connect with your community!

Question 2

You mentioned a slideshow - how do I submit?

Accepted Answer

The link for submitting your work is in your ticket email.  You can submit up to THREE images or ONE 30 sec showreel.  The purpose of the slideshow is a talking point for you to refer to - so make sure we can tell who the images/content is from.  Bear in mind, audio won't be played on the screen.

Will this be a regular thing?  Absolutely!

We used to do this every month.  Every month for over a decade, and for a good chunk of time in two cities.  So, we've done this around about 120 times now.  It's absolutely coming back, we miss it!

What about future events?  What's happening there?

We're aiming to relaunch properly in January, and have a monthly programme.  The first kick-off meet-up is free, however we will be ticketing the event thereafter to cover venue costs and marketing.  On the night, we'll be looking for ideas to help grow our community & events - so get involved!

I've got some ideas for future events, can I share them?

Definitely!  We'll be looking for some feedback and ideas on the night, so come armed with every bit of enthusiasm and creative ideas you have.  But be prepared to help execute on those ideas too! That's where the community part thrives!
