Have an idea for a TV show but not sure where to start? Or just interested in the world of scriptwriting and want to learn more? This fun and inclusive workshop will guide you through the first stages of getting a project onto the page and, from there, onto the screen. Our host, award-winning professional screenwriter Adriel Leff, has created and written original shows for primetime BBC1 and will give you industry insights into how to structure, format, and ultimately get your script read by top production companies and TV commissioners.

Adriel is an award winning screenwriter from North West London.

He is the co-creator and co-writer of prime-time BBC1 series GRANITE HARBOUR, recently renewed for a third series.

Adriel's screenwriting career began when the first script he ever wrote was optioned by Emmy-winning producer Allan McKeown (‘Birds Of A Feather’, ‘Lovejoy’), and is currently developing original TV projects with several production companies including Warner Bros, FilmNation and Freemantle.

He has since been shortlisted for both the BAFTA Rocliffe TV Drama Competition and the BBC Writersroom, been a grand finalist of the Sitcom Mission, and won the British Urban Film Festival Scriptwriting Competition an unprecedented three times.
