Scribblers Community Writers Session
An open & safe space to show up & set an intention for your writing
The Scribblers Community Writers Session is a high-energy, welcoming space for writers of every level, from first timers to seasoned creatives. Show up exactly as you are, spark your ideas into motion, and leave with fresh words on the page that weren’t there before.
This focused accountability hour is all about momentum. Set an intention, dive into planning, writing, editing, or journaling, and let the collective energy keep you moving forward. If you choose, you can share what you’ve created at the end of the session in a supportive, open, and judgment-free community.
I’d never written before, but Mel’s prompts helped me write my first poem. I’ll definitely will be attending more Scribbles sessions.
Horniman Museum – Hekayyatna September 2025
I arrived with wanting to write, now I’m leaving with tons of ideas. Mel helped me to enjoy the process and not to be freighted of the blank page.

Mel's creative writing workshop was amazing! It was the first time I attended that kind of workshop, and I surprised myself by producing a short story that I'm proud of! Mel shared a mix of prompts to get us thinking, she created a warm and playful environment for us to write and be inspired. Doing this online is such a treat as well as you can be in your jammies :) I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to give themselves an hour of creative play. I'm definitely going to come back for more!

Thank you, I really enjoy the sessions. As someone who really hasn't known where to start I'm finding the opportunities to just explore really helpful.

I loved the activities around sustaining my spark – this is what I struggle with most.

This workshop taught me that my story matters.

I would totally recommend this workshop to those who aren’t regular and want to start writing and to turn up to the page.
