Join the Scribbles Learning Network at Manchester Art Gallery, to visit the exhibition Things of the Least.
Things of the Least was developed as part of a 3-year project that explores how very young children under 3 years old, interact with objects in museums and galleries.
Our hosts will be Professor Rachel Holmes (Manchester Metropolitan University - MMU), Katy McCall (Manchester Art Gallery), Dr Christina MacRae (MMU), and Dr. Ruthie Whitby Boycott-Garnett (MMU), who developed the project with partners in Birmingham and at SureStart. They will share insights into the exhibition-making process, and how members of the public have responded in the 9 months since it opened.
For further information on this project, please visit https://manchesterartgallery.org/event/things-of-the-least/
The gallery and exhibition are free to enter, and we will also have time for networking, tea and coffee in the education studio. Please meet us in the exhibition space at 1pm. All information about the gallery, facilities, accessibility and transport links can be found here: https://manchesterartgallery.org/visit-manchester-art-gallery/
