This event is for people working in, or aspiring to work in, the animation industry.Watch as scriptwriters see their new work performed live before their eyes under the voice-directing skills of top industry professional - Barry Purves. It’s a high-speed creative roller-coaster that’ll leave you amazed (and amused) at the talent on all sides of the animation equation.It&#x27;s so much more than just a reading! It&#x27;s a behind the scene&#x27;s peek at what happens in a recording session, with character and story being refined through playing about.The scripts we will be exploring for this Scripts Out Loud virtual event are:Doonamona written by Fintan O&#x27;HigginsIn Ireland&#x27;s ancient west, the daughter of a pirate queen and a druid finds adventure in everyday lifeThe Eighth Warbler written by Hannah Rose SmithWhen fourteen year-old Octavia turns up unannounced at her Nanna Bea’s in the depths of the Cumbrian countryside the last thing she expects to find is a bus full of robotic tourists obsessed with her unsuitable footwear, a luminescent cottage, and a sneering extraterrestrial. What on earth is going on, and why have they taken her Nanna?There will be a Q&amp;A&#x27;s at various points throughout the evening, so you can contribute live.
