Scrub Control

A hands-on volunteering opportunity with the Natural Environment team to remove scrub from the sand dunes

Come and help with scrub control. Scrub can spread and dominate dune systems, reducing biodiversity and threatening rare species. By controlling scrub, volunteers help maintain the integrity of these habitats, supporting native plants and wildlife. Volunteers will help dig and cut scrub from the sensitive sand dunes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your volunteer hours and make a positive difference to a protected and sensitive site.

Please bring your own refreshments.

Tools will be provided.

Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes / boots. If you have gardening gloves you are welcome to bring them with you!
