SCRYING with Hubert Green and Cherelle Sappleton
Closed Circle for Black/Brown & Diaspora Community
Part of Movements from the Margins : Collective Altar
People Dem Collective x Diasporas Now
Join us for a guided session using fire and sound to focus, reflect, and set intentions for the year ahead. Together we’ll:
• Release what no longer serves
• Observe and clarify through the motion of the flames
• Ground ourselves through scrying with a restorative sound bath
• No experience needed — just bring an open mind.
With sound by Cherelle Sappleton @cksappleton
ARTIST BIO - Hubert Zirconium is a multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of ritual, space, and social architecture. His practice—spanning immersive environments, participatory workshops, and community-specific projects—is rooted in creating frameworks for reflection, dialogue, and sensory engagement. Whether through fire, sound, or built form, his work builds temporary containers where personal and collective transformation can surface.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a Closed Circle for Black/Brown & Diaspora Community
The group will meet at People Dem Collective on Harold Road and walk to the beach together. Please bring warm comfortable clothes and something to sit on.
