Wondering what you and your kids can do over the October break then look no further!!
Join us at Creative Stranraer for three FREE marine themed creative workshops this week. The workshops will be fun, and involve some playful learning.

Solway Coast and Marine Project

Book to take part in one of our ‘Walk and Talk’ workshops to find out more and add your thoughts to the pot. Each event is led by an environment expert, and you’ll be invited to consider what you want for the future of your coastline.

Meeting at Stranraer’s Creative Hub join environmental artist, Jan Hogarth to take a journey into the deep where you will be invited to a showing of eco filmmaker, John Wallace’s film from edited underwater footage shot by Newton Stewart Sub Aqua Club and SCAMP research trips.After the film, Jan will show you how to use stills and film footage to create some fabulous drawings that celebrate and reimagine those sea creatures. Taking inspiration from the little creatures and making them big!!Come prepared to get messy and creative! Ages 8 - upwardsThis workshop is brought to you by Solway Coast and Marine Project and Creative Stranraer.SCAMP is an initiative by the D&amp;G Council Environment Team supported by NatureScot in collaboration with the Scottish Government and in partnership with the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
