A graduating showcase from third-year acting students at Catalyst — Institute for Creative Arts and Technology, presents Seagull — a site-specific reimagining of Anton Chekhov’s classic, translated by Curt Columbus.

Set across the historic Funkhaus complex along the Spree in Berlin, this moving production unfolds over four acts, inviting audiences to emmerse themselves through the world of the play as it breathes.

This marks the culminating performance of three years of work from a close-knit ensemble of eight graduating actors:

Accessibility guide:

The performance takes place across multiple locations. Acts 1–3 are held outdoors in step-free, accessible spaces. Audience will be guided between locations on foot. Act 4 takes place indoors and is accessible only via a three-floor staircase; no elevator is available. Service dogs are welcome.
