J﻿oin us for a fun-filled morning at Oakfield Flower Gardens on Saturday 23rd September where, as a community, we'll be selling, sharing or swapping our unwanted &amp; unused items and re-imagining, reusing and upcycling our old clothes.Community table-top sale - Have a clear-out and bring any unwanted household items &amp; clothes to either sell or share with your community. No need to bring loads as there is no charge. Just bring a blanket or table to display your wares!T﻿oy Swap- Encourage the kids to choose up to 3 toys or games to swap or share at our toy swap stall.B﻿asic sewing skills workshop- Come and learn some basic sewing skills such as how to sew on a button, darn a hole and create some 'visible mending'.T﻿ie-dying- For adults and kids alike! Bring along any light-coloured fabric you'd like to give new life too (e.g an old, stained t-shirt, pillow-case or anything else you'd like to add colour too). WARNING! This might get messy. We have aprons and gloves but don't wear your Sunday best!F﻿abric crafts- We'll be making bags from old t-shirts together and juggling balls/ fidget balls for the kids out of odd socks. Again, please bring any old t-shirts and socks you have for this.By recirculating our stuff &amp; buying, using and donating second hand, we can help to reduce the demand for new items and reduce waste. This all helps to reduce the damage to our planet &amp; helps our wallets too!﻿W﻿e hope to see you there!
