Founded in 1973, SERA is the only environmental campaign affiliated with the Labour Party.We believe that tackling environmental problems is key to delivering opportunity and fairness.We are a membership based organisation, and our members include Labour politicians, businesses, environmental professionals and trade unionists.

The event will be hosted by WWF and Green Alliance, in conjunction with SERA and on behalf of the wider climate movement.

The Dome Room

The urgency of mitigating climate change has never been more pronounced, as the recently published IPCC report has made clear: we must act now to limit warming to 1.5° and prevent further damage to our planet.A successful COP26 will lay the foundations for the work of future governments in tackling climate change, and will be essential in ensuring climate justice and a liveable planet.This reception will provide an excellent opportunity for conference attendees to mingle with climate and nature experts from some of the UK’s major environmental organisations to discuss the crucial climate action needed in the run-up to, and post-COP26, as well as see short speeches from our special guests to set out their hopes and vision for a successful COP26.Drinks and nibbles will be provided. Please do not attend this event if you have tested positive for Covid or have any symptoms. We recommend conference attendees take a lateral flow test each day before starting out and going to any events.
