Seeing and Doing: Week 2
A relaxed, social group where people can look at something and then make something else from it.
Seeing and Doing Week 2: Emily Dickinson
Seeing and Doing is a multidisciplinary space that takes the idea of a writing group and makes it everything.
All types of artists and those who wouldn’t call themselves that, come along to Seeing and Doing: a fortnightly space to discuss and create! The group exists as a place where people can play with artistic inspiration in whichever way feels right.
The second half of the session this week will be looking at the poetry of Emily Dickinson, more information on Patrickbenson.Co.Uk/Seeinganddoing, although no prior preparation will be required. Each session will run as follows in three parts: warm up (doing the prompts), seeing (reading the poetry), and doing (making the thing).
There are no restrictions on what sort of artist you are, we welcome poets, painters, sculptors, illustrators, textile artists, musicians, whatever feels right! There is also no restriction on ability or knowledge in order to join, if you are interested, you are welcome. Art materials will be provided but please do bring anything specific along that you would like to use.
Please send any questions about the session to patrickbenson.co.uk/contact
