Expert Impact is excited to announce a masterclass on seeking and securing funding for charities.

The session will be hosted by Mary Rose Gunn, CEO of The Fore and Kirsty McHugh, CEO of the Mayors Fund.

Our masterclass experts will explain where to look for opportunities, manage relationships with donors and explore the best way of establishing partnerships.

As well as sharing their insight, there will be an opportunity to ask our speakers questions.

Mary Rose is CEO of The Fore and its umbrella organisation, The Bulldog Trust. Launched in 2017, The Fore is a venture-capital style grant fund for small charities and social enterprises with a mission to inject innovation and dynamism into the charity sector.

Mary Rose has a wide-range of experience in identifying need and building organisations from the ground up having created Two Temple Place and The Fore from scratch within two very different sectors - museums/heritage/culture and funding/charity/CSR sector.

She is an experienced public speaker with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong strategic vision. Her track record includes designing and implementing programmes; fundraising (over £5m); commercial income generation; building boards; volunteer management; marketing, media and communications and strengthening governance structures.

Kirsty McHugh is Chief Executive of the Mayor's Fund for London, the independent charity championing social mobility for young Londoners from low income households. Previously chief executive of the Employment Related Services Association, where Kirsty led extensive national policy and campaign work on behalf of the employment support sector, and a director at Business in the Community, the national charity for responsible business, where she led multi functional teams covering research, campaigns, advisory services, project and programme delivery.

Kirsty has extensive experience working cross sector, with a track record combining policy, programme delivery and income generation. Policy specialisms include employment and skills, regeneration, social housing and welfare reform, disability and social sector issues.
