Learn how to create your own linocut print in this practical session with Sheffield-based artist and printmaker James Green.
Bring along an image to base your linocut print on, whether that be a drawing, photograph or illustration, and leave with a completed A6 size one-colour linocut print, plus your plate and test prints. During this special one-off workshop, you’ll learn how to prepare your image for the lino, safely use the tools and print using a press and spoons.
This workshop is in collaboration with Sheffield’s Selected Space market, curated by makers at Yorkshire Artspace, taking place at Persistence Works 11-13 July 2025. Over 3 days you can peruse and purchase beautiful items, all crafted by artists and makers from across the region. Find out more at Selected Space
