Selective Licensing Consultation Meeting

Sheffield City Council is undertaking a consultation programme with regard to potentially introducing a Selective Licensing scheme for privately rented homes along London Road, Abbeydale Road and Chesterfield Road.
This is a proposal to support landlords in providing safe, well managed homes
Selective Licensing is a discretionary power that councils can implement to tackle specific problems in an area with a high number of privately rented properties if they think it is necessary. Before any decisions are made we are seeking the views of everyone in the area as this will help us shape the final proposal.
Landlords, Tenants, Residents and Business owners in the local area are welcome to come along and give their views.
At this event there will be a presentation about Selective Licensing and opportunities to ask questions.
