About this event

This 2-hour beginner-friendly self-defence workshop is here to equip you with real-world tools and a grounded sense of your own strength in a supportive, no-judgement space.

In this session, you’ll learn:

- What self-defence means (and what’s legally recognised in the UK)- Simple but effective techniques anyone can apply- How to move with awareness, power, and intention- How to defend yourself while wearing heels!- Strategies for safety and confidence in everyday situations

👠 The Heels Self-Defence workshop will bust the myth that wearing heels makes you weak. In fact, you’ll learn how to fight back in style. Abusers and attackers often see high heels as a vulnerability but after this workshop, no one will ruin your night out again. Walk tall, feel powerful, and leave with skills that serve you in real life.

What's included in the ticket:

After class, we’ll wrap up with a chilled student meet & greet and a mini showcase from our students in belly dance, floorwork and burlesque, celebrating the power, sass, and solidarity of our community. The post-class events will last until 6pm, but you are free to leave earlier if you'd like.

What to bring:– Water– Towel– Heels (optional!)
