About this event
Suffolk SENDIASS is offering a relaxed online session for parents and carers in Suffolk, explaining the process of SEN support in schools for pupils with communication and interaction needs
The session will be supported by specialist teachers from the Communication and Interaction outreach education service.
The session will explore:
The key principles of SEN support and whole school and whole class approaches;
The 4 stages to the cycle of SEN support and how you and your child are involved;
Examples of targeted support schools can reasonably offer;
What happens if your child needs more support.
You don't have to use your video or microphone in the session - you can just listen or post questions in chat if you prefer.
Anyone who registers will be sent links to a pre-recording of the session and helpful resources.
