Event description
Online session for Suffolk parents explaining the process of SEN support in mainstream schools for pupils with coordination difficulties.

About this event

Suffolk SENDIASS is offering an informal online session for parents and carers, explaining the process of SEN support in mainstream schools for pupils with coordination difficulties.

The session will be supported by an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist with the Integrated Community Paediatric Services who will help explore the kind of support which might reasonably be offered in school.

The session will explore:

The key principles of SEN support and whole class approaches.

The 4 stages to the cycle of SEN support and how you and your child are involved;

Examples of school support;

What happens if your child needs more support.

We will be keeping the group number small so that we can address as many of your questions as possible.
