SEND Network: Transition for All (pt2)

SEND Network: Transition for All (pt2)

Online event
Wednesday, June 17  •  10 AM - 11 AM GMT+1
Overview

Sharing best practice to support transition for different stages of development or additional needs.

Session 1 (April 2026): Considering the impact of delayed learning and what we mean by ‘additional needs’ in the context of EYFS flexibility. We will ask ourselves what we already do which helps these children make progress before starting school.

Session 2: Sharing a strengths-based pedagogy throughout the EYFS. What matters at transition meetings? What do we change when children enter school, and why?

The combined sessions will build confidence in supporting the increased numbers and complexity of needs in 3, 4 and 5-year-old children.

There may also be the opportunity to follow up on the implementation of approaches presented here in the form of a one-hour peer support workshop during the Autumn Term.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS BOOKING IS FOR PART 2 ONLY. PART 1 CAN BE BOOKED SEPARATELY BY FOLLOWING THIS LINK:
