Event description

Description

Our perception and experience of the world around us is constructed of sensory stimulation and the integration of sensory information across the senses. Each sensor in our body responds to different sources of information, including electromagnetic radiation reaching our eyes, or sound pressure changes reaching our ears. These sensory signals are integrated and interpreted by the central nervous system. This meeting will use current work to illustrate the neurosensory system in health and disease.

SoNG is a unique opportunity for researchers from different aspects of neuroscience in Southampton to come together and share their work and ideas. The speakers and content of the meeting will reflect this diversity, we will put a call out for abstract submissions for the poster session in June and would like to encourage as many submissions as possible.

Abstract information:

All abstracts to be received by 14th July please select Option 1 Poster presentation or Option 2 Poster presentation and talk. Forward to Debbie Buck (db5@soton.ac.uk)
