Overview

Join me for a relaxing morning, exploring the woodlands, foraging for wild edible & medicinal herbs, tuning in with all your senses.

Sensory Foraging & Forest Bathing

Join me, an ecotherapist, guiding Nature & Forest Therapy walks since 2018, & herbologist for a chilled morning of foraging where you'll connect with nature tuning in with all your senses.

Wandering through the woods, finding wild edible & medicinal herbs, and immersing yourself in the peaceful vibes of the woodlands. It’s all about slowing down, being in connection with sights, sounds, scents, tastes and textures and enjoying the simple wonders around you. Perfect for anyone wanting a refresh away from the hustle. In person, to restore & revitalise your mind and body!

Forest bathing has been found to reduce stress/anxiety, increase vitality, reduce high blood pressure, enhance immune system, and develop a new relationship with nature. You may have heard of phytoncides - these are compounds emitted from trees and plants that positively impact your health & wellbeing.

I shall share stories and folklore along the way, bringing along some homemade, nutritious treats with a foraged herbal tea to complete the experience. Amanda is currently a Diploma student of the Sourdough School, and is a formally trained Cordon Bleu cook.

I carry out a recce of the route before each walk to check for hazards, and to determine a safe route, which may change on the day, depending on conditions.
