Parent / carer workshop on Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) and  its impact on behaviour

St Saviour's Parish Centre, Bidston Road, Oxton, CH43 2JZ

This 5 hour workshop is split into morning and afternoon sessions. Session One of the workshop (in the morning) focuses on the impact of SPD on behaviour, including:<ul><li>how it feels to have SPD</li><li>how to understand and interpret challenging behaviour.</li></ul>Session Two (afternoon session) focuses on strategies to support a child with SPD, including:<ul><li>the difficulties a child with SPD might experience with daily activities</li><li>how to develop sensory strategies to help a child with SPD meet their sensory needs</li></ul>
