Overview

An insightful and practical workshop on sensory processing.

We’re delighted to be welcoming Marianne from Function Ability to Wildflower Meadows for a thoughtful and practical workshop focused on sensory processing.

This session is designed for parents and carers who would like to better understand how sensory differences can impact a child’s everyday experiences — and how we can support children in ways that feel safe, responsive and effective.

What we’ll explore

• What sensory processing differences are and how they present
• How sensory needs can influence behaviour and emotional regulation
• Why some environments or demands can feel overwhelming
• Practical, supportive strategies to help your child feel more regulated and comfortable

Who is this for?

This workshop is ideal for parents and carers of children who:
• experience sensory sensitivities or sensory seeking behaviours
• may feel overwhelmed in everyday environments
• struggle with regulation or transitions
• are neurodivergent or exploring a diagnosis
