We are excited to be able to repeat this experiential workshop about taking your private practice forward – tips and practical considerations for both newbies and those looking to expand and consolidate their counselling practice.

Facilitators:
Fiona Douglas MBACP
Fiona qualified as a counsellor in 2006 and as a supervisor in 2011. She has worked in the third sector on many projects and has undertaken EAP work for local authorities. Fiona has delivered training courses having qualified as a teacher in 1994.
Fiona has been in private practice since 2011 – her practice was kickstarted further by the pandemic and her desire to work independently leading her to develop a now successful and busy private practice.
David Keenan
David qualified as a counsellor in 1998 and as a casework supervisor in 2001. He worked extensively as a counsellor and service manager in the NHS and the third sector. David also delivered counsellor training courses around Greater Manchester.
Now retired, David (formerly MBACP Accred) ran a very successful private practice from 2007 to 2024, where he offered a combination of counselling, supervision and workshop facilitation.
