The 7th annual SewBrum meet-up is taking place online!

♥ What? ♥SewBrum is a free-to-attend meet-up of people who love to sew in Birmingham, UK, which is now in its seventh year.Since it isn't currently possible to meet in person, SewBrum is moving online.Full details will be shared with registered attendees, but the day will include:<ul><li>Video messages &amp; discount codes from local sewing businesses &amp; textile artists;</li><li>A live bargello stitch pincushion workshop with Birmingham-based textile artist <a href="https://www.tina-francis-tapestry.co.uk/shop/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tina Francis</a>;</li><li>A raffle of sewing-themed prizes, with all money raised being donated to <a href="https://bswaid.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid</a> &amp; <a href="https://birminghammind.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Birmingham Mind</a> (UK entrants only, due to postage of prizes).</li></ul>With no need to travel to Birmingham we hope attendees will be able to join us from across the UK, and beyond.International attendees - please note that the raffle, and kits for the bargello workshop, will be UK-only due to postage costs/delays. Attendees can feel free to dip in and out.10:00 (BST): Hello from local indie businesses!Messages and discount codes from indie businesses in Birmingham and the Midlands will be shared via the event page and emailed to registered attendees.Featured business will include SewBrum co-host <a href="https://guthrie-ghani.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Guthrie &amp; Ghani</a>, local fabric shops, and textile-artists and makers.14:00 (BST): Live Bargello Stitch Workshop with Tina FrancisIn the afternoon, attendees will get together online for a live bargello stitch workshop with Birmingham-based textile artist <a href="https://www.tina-francis-tapestry.co.uk/shop/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tina Francis</a>. The workshop will be free to watch, but you'll need to order a pattern and/or kit from Tina to participate in full (listings below). We will be stitching a bargello panel which is designed to be made into a pincushion or can be used to decorate another project of your choice.
