Join me for this 5-week Sewing for Kids Course for children over 10 accompanied by a parent or carer. In these 90-minute sessions, you and your child will team up to learn essential techniques that build on learning week after week. Your child will create a series of sewn outcomes ranging in difficulty and based on their understanding and progress to ensure each child moves forward at a pace that's right for them, and to give them pride in what they make to take home.

It's preferable for your child to bring their own sewing machine, if they have one, to help them get used to using it. However, I will have one sewing machine that can be used and also there will be plenty of hand sewing alternatives.

Even though this will be a small group of 6 children over 10, supervision from a parent or carer will be essential. There will be some sharp items when sewing, so it's important that you can help your child work safely.

The ticket price will cover your admission for the whole of the 5 weeks as well as fabric, thread, soft filling, cord, buttons and zips. I will also have some measuring tapes, quick-unpicks, needles, pins and tailors chalk for children to use.
