Class Description

Bunting is a great way to decorate your home for any occasion. This is an excellent first project for a beginner who’s just learning how to sew. In this fun and relaxing class, we will be learning how to make a bunting of your choice. By the end of this lesson, you will have made bunting to take home with you.

Areas we cover include:

- Functions of the machine

- Threading the machine

- Winding a bobbin

- Changing a needle

- Sewing straight lines, curves, and corners

- Finishing seams

- Reverse stitching

- Using bias binding

- Adding an appliqué (optional)

What do I need to bring?

You will need good mood, smile, patience, and enthusiasm. Everything else will be provided.

Just to sew things up...

All fabrics, materials, sewing machines tools and threads are provided. Refreshments and biscuits are included.

Our workshops are held at our own venue in The Fabric Vault, Lichfield. And they cover a wide range of crafts, activities and lessons to cater for all from beginners to experienced crafters. We welcome crafters between the age of 6years old – 99 years old (parents must be accompany children between the ages of 6-12years old).
