Protect your machine from harmful dust with this simple but useful sewing machine cover. It’s padded and has pockets for tools or cables. It will also be made to fit your specific machine. Suitable for beginners upwards.

What we will provide:

Wadding

Calico fabric for the lining (unless you bring your own lining fabric)

Bias binding

Tea/Coffee and biscuits!

What you will need to bring:

It is essential that you bring your own sewing machine to this workshop as you will be creating a custom-fit cover. Only suitable for normal size / shape sewing machines, not overlockers or industrial machines.

In total you will need about a metre of fabric for the main body, however you can also bring toning / matching / contrasting fabrics for the pockets.

We have plenty of fabrics to choose from at The Blue House but you are welcome to bring your own.
